Supermodel Hilary Rhoda’s mom and brother were noticeably absent from her wedding to retired hockey star Sean Avery two weeks ago, sources tell Confidenti@l, because Avery has caused a rift so deep in the family, Rhoda is now estranged from her once tight clan.

The beauty’s mother, Marianne Rhoda, and brother Spencer Rhoda, were also intentionally left out of the New York Times wedding story, one source points out, while the former hockey player’s parents Marlene Avery and Al Avery got ink in the post wedding piece.

That same source tells us that Avery has “brainwashed” Rhoda, once the face of Estee Lauder, into cutting out her mother, who also served as her daughter’s longtime manager, turning her from a Maryland-based model to a world-famous brand.

“He suffers from delusions of grandeur,” explains our source. “He’s at it again, and the failures are mounting. His latest career claim to fame is ‘flipping houses’ in the Hamptons, but he’s terrible at real estate.”

The Real Deal reported in 2011 that he bought his 444 W. 19th St. for $1.46 million in 2007, and sold it for $1.4 million. That was followed by the sale in 2011 of his West Hollywood home at a $200,000 loss.

Sean Avery “has been freeloading full time for the past several years at the Southampton home owned since 2009 by Hilary, which he renovated in 2013, post engagement, without telling her, then presented her with a $100,000 bill which she wired into her account,” says a second source.

Avery even told Hamptons mag in June, “I didn’t tell her (about the decorating) and fortunately she liked it.”

Our first source says Rhoda seemed down at her wedding at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, and “didn’t dance much” and “barely spoke to anyone.” Back in 2013, the pair reported that they were planning a wedding in Jamaica and it was going to be the “most fun and beautiful wedding” ever.

“Sean had suspended the prenup before the wedding,” adds the source. “I hope Hilary signed it. She was being pressured by him not to, the guy makes no money. He’s isolated her from her family. He fabricates everything. He’s an opportunist and he can’t get along with her.”

Avery is due in court next week after being arrested on Sept. 30 and charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th dgree, both misdemeanors. He's due in Southampton Village Court.
